Why does a guy who has spent his whole professional life in the television industry decide to create a workshop aimed at Life Planning?

Because at age 63, a strong voice was telling me that I was not going to live forever, and that I needed to do something to help others that was…important…more important than the commercial television shows that I had been involved with forever.

Unfinished Business

Steve with wife, Sharon, and their dog, Kipper.

I remembered that one of the most satisfying times I ever had was co-creating and delivering a workshop for couples in the past, and that the most satisfying part of it was speaking from the heart. Unlike much of what we delivered on television, this came from a deeper place. I remembered the feeling that when I delivered it, it just flowed naturally… with no agenda. It came from a desire to offer people something I felt at the core, and I hoped they would take it and be inspired to make their lives better with it. No sales agenda. No need to look good. Just giving away something that I strongly believed could make their lives better.

That’s what Unfinished Business is all about for me. It’s the strong desire to communicate a fundamentally important truth that I have learned from experience: that life can be planned from the inside out for deep satisfaction…and that we must pause and focus to see where we need to go… and move forward on a path from the core. That’s where motivation and natural energy live. We all owe it to ourselves to go there.
